This is Patrick Acree and he works in the library on May 20, helping students find information. He can also show them where to find the books they need. He has been working for the library for six years.
These are shelves with different kinds of history books and the table down in the front is where students can study and work on homework. The library also loans out computers and also staffs the student help desk.
Amanda Raiter works in the testing center on June 7. The testing center is on Linn-Benton Community College in Red Cedar hall on the LB campus. Amanda has been working for the testing center for a couple of years. The testing center is a place where students can go a take a test that they either missed in class or if they want a quieter place to take a test.
Jonah Wasmer-Foree works in the Roast Runners coffee shop on May 29 at Linn-Benton Community College. He is the manager. Roast Runners offers coffee, blended Red Bull drinks, and tea. Roast runners overlooks the courtyard right night to the Student Union.
Jack, left to right, Rylie, and Camden, where play chess in the campus store located at the Linn-Benton Community College on May 22. This was their first time playing chess at this location, but they enjoyed hanging out and playing chess. In addition to a chess board they also provide drinks, school supplies, gear, food, and a comfy place to study.
The Linn-Benton baseball team practices on May 20. They run from 1st to 2nd base then 2nd base to 3rd. The catcher's job was to throw it to each base before the runners got to each base. They practice on Dick McClain Field on the Albany campus. A week later they won the NWAC championship aginst Tacoma in Washington. The score was 7-4. This is their second championship in the last three years
During Conversation and Coffee, two people play hacky sack on May 29. Conversation and Coffee is held in Linn-Benton's courtyard. It is hosted by Jeff Springer. He and a friend also organize a worship group on Thursdays. This group also has dinners at Jeff's house every week. The courtyard also provides places to sit with friends or study. The courtyard also has a water fountain
Josh Stickrod works for the writing center at Linn-Benton. He has been working for the writing centre since 2019. Before he worked for the writing centre, he was an editor for The Commuter. He helps students who need help with their essays and other assignments.
